To characterize the distribution of the fibers calcined at 1100°C for 6h,EDS analysis was carried out to measure the distribution of various elements for a nanofiber,as shown in Fig.4.The fiber was randomly chosen.Two different locations were selected for this analysis,as shown in Fig.4(a).EDS element analysis reveals that both locations contain Y, Mn and O in similar concentration and proportions,as shown in Fig.4(b) and (c).Au was sprayed onto the nanofibers before scanning in order to get high quality morphology images.The content of elements in the two locations shows little change, suggesting that the nanofibers heated at 1100°C for 6h were generally homogenous in chemical constitution. |
