Reviewer #1: This paper presents possible applications of the GTDT approach to transmission path analysis (TPA) in the case of continuum mechanical systems represented by means of finite element models (FEM). The work is interesting though the authors fail somehow when highlighting their contribution to the GTDT approach. In particular, it is the reviewer opinion that the main contribution of this work resides in sections 3.1.2 and 3.2.2, rather than in sections 3.1.1 and 3.2.1.  The developments in 3.1.1 and 3.2.1 constitute only a slight generalization of those in reference [12]. Actually, note that the final equations (20) and (54) were already presented in [12]. This should be clearly stated. Moreover, the following modifications should be made:
Reviewer #2:
The paper approaches an interesting subject and comes up with some novel and potentially practically useful results which could be implemented reasonably easy for measured data. It is therefore definitely worth publishing. However, a lot of work will be needed to bring it up to publication standard. I would encourage the authors to do this because the essential concepts are valuable. The paper is quite long and difficult to follow. In part this is because the Magrans theory is not very intuitive, but the flow of the arguments can certainly be improved and ideally shortened. I feel that readers will also struggle to appreciate the concepts even if they are already familiar with Magrans' work. After a lot of thought I decided that the main concepts are essentially correct, although the assumptions and limitations need to be more precisely detailed. Although the overall standard of English is not bad the paper would benefit from some language editing.

想法新颖,可以发表的,第二个编辑给的评论很正面啊。在稍作修改肯定没问题了。不过想问一下影响因子是多高的,不放试着往更高一点的投
