[交流] 574签证是否需要出生证明的问题分析

因为本人让单位开“我妈是我妈”这个证明的时候困难重重，所以就研究了一下checklist。checklist上的原话和很多帖子上纠结的问题是这句：
Evidence of the relationship between yourself and all members of your family unit. Example:
certified copies or notarised copies of birth certificates (including those who are not joining you in Australia)
marriage certificate.
理解这句话的关键在于怎么理解family unit，于是我就去翻了一下157A表，上面竟然真的有对family unit的定义：
Members of your family unit are your partner and any dependent children of you or your partner who are unmarried, not in a de facto relationship and who have not turned 18 years of age.
Please attach evidence of your relationship to each family member
(eg. certified copies of birth certificates or marriage certificate).
（大概意思是这里的family unit指你的伴侣和你或你伴侣尚未结婚的未成年孩子）。

总结：如果你单身，没有孩子，你是不需要你和家庭成员之间关系的证明的。也就是这里的family unit不包括你爸妈。当然，如果你开这个证明很方便，且想保险什么都开的话也没问题。我如果没有这个证明申请下来签证的话我也会和各位虫友分享。
