COMMENTS FROM EDITOR AND REVIEWERS EDITORS DECISION Thank you for submitting your manuscript to Sedimentary Geology. After reading through your manuscript I regret to inform you that I cannot accept it for publication. The main reason for my decision is that that the standard of the written scientific English is not at the level required for the journal. Throughout the manuscript there are numerous poorly constructed phrases and sentences that are very difficult to understand. Although reviewers and I are generally prepared to undertake some minor editorial work, we are not responsible for rewriting large sections of the paper. Thus, as it now stands, I cannot accept this for publication. I might be prepared to consider a re-submission providing you can clearly demonstrate that you have had the manuscript read and edited by somebody who is fluent in written scientific English. |
