一审意见返回，2个审稿人给了正面意见修改格式后同意接受。还有两个审稿人意见如下，Reviewer #3: The paper is well written and presented. It is an experimental work on hydrothermal treatment temperature and residence time on characteristics and combustion behaviors of green waste. I have few comments about the submitted work:
- Usually, for experimental work of heterogeneous solid fuels, the authors need to show the level of reproducibility of their experimental findings. The current work doesn't show that.
- The trends are good. However, I don't why work with only 8 data points, especially, they are getting good results. I was hoping to see at least 50 data points covering wider temperature range and for more reaction times.
- The authors write that moisture uptake content decreased gradually as the temperature and residence time increased. The question when does it level off?



Reviewer #5: 1. The literature review is poorly written. You just listed the related studies. However, why you choose to do this study is not mentioned.
2. The abstract does not mentioned on the current issue, the problem of applied thermal engineering and no novelty in the result output. It can be noticed that the abstract just focusing on methodology.
3. The paper is not suitable for Applied Thermal Engineering Journal; it is more suitable to combustion science.
