都灵大学生物系生物化学实验室现招聘博士生一名 课题方向：生物化学、结构生物学 课题开始时间：2016年10月1日 提供全额奖学金，学制3年，博士期间可以申请去外校交流学习一年，期间在原有奖学金的基础上还会加上额外的50%的奖学金做为补助。 都灵大学简介：根据最新发布的2015年“CWUR”世界大学排名中心（Center for World University Rankings）结果显示，都灵大学的师资质量位居世界第163位，综合学术能力位居世界第221位，意大利国内第五位；在上海交通大学“ARWU”世界大学学术排名当中，都灵大学综合学术能力在2015年位居世界第196位，意大利国内第五位。在2014年位居世界第193位，意大利国内第六位。 实验室主页：http://www.biochemistry-scienze.unito.it 实验室大老板以前是帝国理工学院的一名Reader，后到都灵大学做研究。 英语环境：实验室所有的会议报告全部用英文，毕业论文必须用英文，实验室的英文环境还可以，不过出了实验室的话，校外的人很多都不会讲英语，意大利整体英语环境不好。 要求：对语言没有要求，不需要雅思托福之类的，也不需要意大利语证书，如果硕士期间发表过文章的话机会会很大。有感兴趣的同学可以把个人简历发到giovanna.dinardo@unito.it邮箱，至于推荐人的话其实无所谓，只要有文章可能性就比较大。 实验室能发表的最好的文章影响因子大概9左右，没有能力发表CNS之类的文章，因此对自己期望高的同学就不用申请了。 PhD Studentship, University of Turin, Italy Project Title: X-ray crystallography of redox enzymes for structure-guided design of new biocatalysts. Supervisor: Dr Giovanna Di Nardo Eligibility: EU and non-EU students Duration: 3 years Start Date: 1st Oct 2016 Applications are invited for a PhD position sponsored by the University of Turin, Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology (http://www.biochemistry-scienze.unito.it) in the field of x-ray crystallography and biocatalysis. Biocatalysis is an alternative and selective approach to synthesise a wide range of molecules with the advantage of lowering the environmental impact that is one of the goals of “green chemistry”. The project aims at the resolution of the crystal structure of bacterial and human enzymes important for biocatalytic applications such as the synthesis of drug metabolites, the production of fine chemicals and biomass conversion for the synthesis of valuable products. The candidate must have experience in protein chemistry and characterisation. Previous experience in crystallography is a plus. The candidate will acquire detailed experience in protein chemistry and x-ray crystallography and gain training in a wide range of research techniques including protein spectroscopy, calorimetry and dynamic light scattering applied in the field of crystallisation.
