However, the social communication and emotional characteristics are often unrecognized in crowd simulation. In psychology, there are two kinds of emotional factors for humans: the internal one from the individual, and the external one from the neighbours. To this end, in this work, we propose simulate a crowd using affective computing with dynamic emotional transmission. Specifically, we use Hidden Markov Model (HMM) to model the emotions for individuals with consideration of personality, and to capture the internal emotion state transfer. Besides, we abstract a two-layer transmission process to quantify the impact from highly active neighbours. In addition, we conduct some simulation experiments to evaluate our proposed model.
