A postdoc Position is immediately available at Dr. Qi Yang's Laboratory at Albany Medical College. The Yang Laboratory is a newly established laboratory, focusing on the biology of Innate Lymphoid Cells. Innate Lymphoid Cells are a new family of lymphocytes that play critical roles in mucosal immunology. This is an exploding field with lots of opportunities. The Yang laboratory focuses on the transcription control of lymphocyte development and function in homeostasis and various disease states. Dr. Yang's papers have been published in many high-impact journals, including Nature Immunology, Immunity, Nature and Science. I currently have two projects, with exciting preliminary data. I am looking for a talented postdoc to work with me to publish papers in high-impact journals. My goal is to have the first batches of papers submitted in 2017, in high impact journals. Postdocs and students will be the first-authors on all papers generated from their own project. Interested candidates please directly contact me at yanglab2016@gmail.com. Key References: 1. | Very interesting. I have been devoted myself in drug delivery for about 6 years: 5 years in long-term PLGA microspheres (Ph.D) and 1 year in PEGylation (work in a company). I want to expand my experience into other biopharmaceutical area. I have 6 publications as first author (Acta Biomaterilia, Jounral of Materials Chemistry B, et al.) and 1 year experience in company as Project Manager, so I am a quick learner and have strong adaptability. I am wondering whether I am qualified for this job. Thank you! |
