Postdoc in genomics and bioinformatics
The University of Vermont (UVM), founded in 1791, is a premier research university internationally acclaimed for excellence in medicine, biology, and health science. It is one of original "Public Ivies", and the fifth college established in New England after Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth and Brown. The UVM College of Medicine was established as the seventh medical college in the U.S.
The long-term goal of research in our genetics and genomics laboratory is to identify genes that predispose an individual to complex human diseases with the ultimate goal of informing diagnosis, disease risk prediction, and treatment. We are looking for a new postdoc to work on genomic analysis projects, including both standard and in-house whole-genome sequencing, and RNA-Seq data analyses. The in-house analyses include applications of endogenous retrovirus variations and their expression and clonal viral integrations in the human genome using pipelines from our lab, which can be seen in our publications (Genome Research. 2019. PMID: 30872350; Bioinformatics. 2019. PMID: 30895294; Genomics. 2019. PMID: 30710609; Briefings in Bioinformatics. 2019. PMID: 30102374). Large sequencing data from real disease cohorts are immediately available.
Self-motivation is required. Experience with deep sequencing data, and/or genome-wide association analyses is desirable. 12月21：外导邀请面试，面试很顺利，外导同意接收
1月5号：小秘邮件过来要求填写J1申请表，我提供了办理ds表的相关材料扫描件。
1月24号：邮件导师和小秘询问办理进度，并向导师要邀请函，老师没给，小秘说材料已经提交给国际办公室，还在审理，有消息会通知我
2月12号：又发了一封邮件给小秘询问办理进度，小秘回复说还在审理，有消息会联系
至今我没有收到邀请函，ds表也等了快2个月了有人说学校邀请函会和ds表一起办理邮寄，但是外导邀请函也没给我。已经邮件要过一次，也不好再要。纽约大学都是这样操作的吗？
请大家支支招，我这种情况怎么办？没有邀请函，单位流程也走不了（不是csc，是单位资助），邮件中和外导提过这个问题
