Literature review is incomplete. For example, following paper has not been cited:
T.C. Gupta, K . Gupta and D.K.Sehgal, 2011, "Instability and Chaos of a Flexible Rotor Ball Bearing System: An Investigation on the Influence of Rotating Imbalance and Bearing Clearance," ASME J. Engg. Gas Turbines and Power, 138 (8).
In fact, this paper addresses similar issues.
Although the title of this paper contains "…... traction motor", Figure 4 is a standard rotor bearing model.
In Figures 5 and 13, do authors mean "amplitude"?
