拒稿两次就因为反应的转化率太高？

我被拒过两次稿，一篇catalysis letter，一篇journal of catalysis. 两篇文章的理由之一都是反应的原料转化率太高，高于95%，审稿人原话如下： 1. “Moreover, the activity data here give the selectivity in cracking, aromatization and higher olefins formation, while the values for hexene conversion are not explicitly given, being around 95 . At such reaction conditions providing conversions close to 100 a realistic correlation can hardly be done.” 2.“The product distributions found on different catalysts or under different conditions have to be compared for similar values of conversion. Because of the very high reactivity of n-hexene (values of conversion always close to 100), this is not possible in this work. This makes very difficult all the comparisons, which deserves to be underscored” 而我的反应原料是己烯，本身就是活性很高的物种，及时转化率是100%，我的目标产物的收率也不过30%左右。难道这意味着我这个反应体系就很难发文章了？ |
