The results show that due to the different viscosity indexes of improvers, the base oil show different viscosity temperature behavior and shear thinning characteristics. With the increase of velocity, the difference of film-forming property between two groups of base oils will enlarged, and the shear thinning characteristics plays a dominate role in effecting the lubrication performance of base oil. However with the increase of temperature, the viscosity temperature behavior of improver plays a dominate role in effecting the film-forming ability of base oil. The load variation plays a insignificant role in effecting the lubrication performance of base oils containing improvers of different viscosity indexes. |
