Battery Scientist/engineer Position Available The candidate will lead or work on research and development projects on high-performance Lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors. Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate new high-capacity electrode materials. Build prototype batteries and supercapacitors, and perform electrochemical testing and analysis. Requirements: A) A successful candidate must have earned a MS or Ph.D. degree in materials science, electrochemistry, or closely related area with at least two years of research experience in batteries (preferably lithium ion batteries) or supercapacitors. B) BS degree in materials science, electrochemistry, or closely related area with at least 3 years of battery research or production experience will also be considered. C) Desirable qualifications include proficiency in both spoken and written English and ability to run related analytical instruments such as a battery tester, electrochemical test station, BET, conductivity measurement instruments, et al. Experience in proposal writing is a strong plus.
