Position: Research Engineer in Computational Imaging Job Description: A Research Engineer responsible for algorithms development and implementation of miniature spectral imaging system employing advanced computational methods. Requirements: The candidate should have Master degree in computer science, physics or relate d field. Experience in one or more of following topics is required: image processing, optimization, i ntrumantal optics, data acquisition. Proficiency in programming using Python or Matlab is required. Cr eativity and independence are highly desirable. Knowledge of computational imaging systems is advantageous. Position: Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Miniature Spectral Imaging Device Development Job Description: A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately for the project of dev elopment of miniature optical system for spectral imaging employing advanced computational methods.. The responsibilities of the recruited candidate involves work on optical design, algorithms develop ment and implementation, and device realization. Requirements: The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in one of the following disciplines: Applied Physics; Optical Engineering/instrumentation, Computer Science or equivalent qualifications. De monstrated excellence in two or more of the following areas is expected: physical optics, optical in strumentation, image processing, computational imaging and optimization. Proficiency in programming using Python or Matlab is required. Experience in spectroscopy, remote sensing or optical MEMS is advantageous. Creativity and independence are highly desirable. Work Environment: Research project involves collaborative work within two research institutes located in Singapore: NTU (Nanyang Technological University) and SMART (Singap ore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology).
