We have activated your permissions now and you will be able to install
ADF with the user name and password as given below.

By following the few simple steps below, you can visualize your first
ADF results within half an hour.
1. DOWNLOAD ADF

The trial version is identical to the full version, so just select the
appropriate platform for your machine. (If needed, repeat the
installation procedure for other machines/platforms later.)

2. INSTALL ADF
a. Standard installation on Windows: double-click the downloaded
installer file with Administrator privileges, accepting all defaults then
copy the attached demo license file to C:\ADF2008.01\license.txt.

b. Standard installation on Mac: drag the ADF2008.01 directory to the
Applications directory (double click the downloaded disk image first if
needed). Copy the attached demo license to the ADF2008.01 directory,
and name it license.

c. Non-standard installations on Windows or Mac, Linux, and UNIX
installation: Follow the installation instructions at
http://www.scm.com/Doc/Doc2008.01/Install/Welcome.html.

The trial (demo) ADF license file is valid until 23 oktober 2008. After
copying the attached trial (demo) license file to the right place, you
can start with ADF directly and do not need to send us any machine
info. The trial (demo) ADF license file is valid until 23 oktober 2008 and
works on any machine. You should now be ready to start evaluating all
our software: ADF, BAND, ADF-GUI, BAND-GUI.

3. RUN BASIC ADF TEST EXAMPLES
To set up and run simple ADF (and BAND) calculations, and visualize
their results, follow the tutorial(s) for the Graphical User Interface
(GUI) at
http://www.scm.com/Doc/Doc2008.0 ... utorial/page1.html.
[If you get an error message when starting up the GUI, possibly the demo
license file is not in the correct place.]

4. RUN ADVANCED EXAMPLES
Study the reference manuals, user's guides, documented examples for ADF
and BAND, and scientific background information at
http://www.scm.com/Doc/Welcome.html for more advanced ADF applications.

5. SUPPORT
We strongly encourage you to contact us at support@scm.com for ANY
problems encountered during your trial.
This includes installation problems, questions about ADF functionality,
scientifically oriented questions, as well as bug reports.
