| A system made of two adjacent regions with lengths 40, and 60 cm respectively. Heat is generated at a rate of 800 W/m3 in one region perfectly insulated on the outerside. Calculate the heat flux and temperature at the exposed side of the second region at distance of 100 cm from the insulated side under steady-state conditions, if the average heat transfer coefficient is 15W/m2.K, and the outside temperature is 20 ℃. |
