新加坡国立大学招收博后 已有6人参与

A position is available for a Research Assistant, or a Post-doctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Siowling Soh, at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). The position is for performing research that involves designing and fabricating chemical systems using different types of advanced materials, such as responsive polymers, hydrogels, and particles. These advanced materials are coupled with interesting reactions and specific spatial organizations of the molecules in order to create “smart” and/or programmable chemical systems (e.g., customizing release). The research is highly interdisciplinary, and can have applications in areas such as energy generation, mechanical actuation, and drug delivery. The ideal candidate is a researcher with a strong background in Chemistry (synthesis and characterization), and is preferably a chemist (polymer or organic), a materials scientist, a chemical engineer, or a researcher in a related field. He/she must have good hands-on skills in experimental work, is independent in research, and has good problem-solving skills. This position is only for those who are highly motivated in research.
