The experimental study on waste alkali treatment has been carried out by extraction-macroporous resin adsorption method to recover the organic contained in due to the difficulty of existing technology to fulfill this purpose. The results show that the ρ(COD) of the waste alkali decreased from 104651mg/L to 6453mg/L when using hexane as the extraction agent, in pH = 3,volume ratio of hexane to waste alkali liquor is 0.5 and the extraction stages is 2, extraction agent can be recycled by distillation. Then HYA-106 macroporous resin has been use to adsorption the secondary extraction effluent with the preferred condition of adsorption flow rate is 1BV/h, temperature range is 20 ~ 40 ℃, pH 3-4, the result can be derived that the ρ (COD) on average decreased to 155 ~ 183mg / L, COD removal efficiency is between 97.1% ~ 97.4%, wastewater treatment capacity of per unit volume of the resin is more than 34BV and the amount of resin adsorption is between 213 ~ 215mgCOD / ml resin, the adsorption-desorption is stability. Total COD removal efficiency of Extraction - Adsorption Process reached 99.8%, which realised the purpose to maximize recovery of the organic in waste alkali. |
