A series of Mg(In、Zr、Hf)/ Yb:Ho:LiNbO3 crystals with large size and high quality were grown by Czochraski technique. The optical properties of different valence, different types and different concentrations of the same type of anti-photodamage ions (Mg2+, In3+, Hf4+ and Zr4+) doping Yb:Ho:LiNbO3 crystals were investigated. Under 980 nm excited, the up-conversion fluorescence properties of different valence ions (Mg2+, In3+, Hf4+ and Zr4+) for Yb:Ho: LiNbO3 crystals were investigated.
