Thank you for your recent submission to Analytical Methods, published by the Royal Society of Chemistry. All manuscripts are initially assessed by the editors to ensure they meet the criteria for publication in the journal. After careful evaluation of your manuscript, I regret to inform you that I do not find your manuscript suitable for publication in Analytical Methods. It is felt that the main interest and advance of the manuscript is on the results in relation to Ophiocordyceps xuefengensis, and there is insufficient development and advance of the analytical methods themselves to be suitable for this particular journal. It is felt that a more specialised journal, focusing on the analysis of traditional Chinese medicines, could be a more suitable venue for the work. I am sorry not to have better news for you, however, thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your manuscript. I wish you every success in publishing this manuscript elsewhere. |
