General Relativity: An Introduction for Physicists provides a clear mathematicalintroduction to Einstein’s theory of general relativity. A wide range of applicationsof the theory are included, with a concentration on its physical consequences. After reviewing the basic concepts, the authors present a clear and intuitivediscussion of the mathematical background, including the necessary tools of tensorcalculus and differential geometry.
