关于DMNS问题求教

我的一篇论文中，计算了一定时间范围内物种均匀度的变化，将结果表述为“the decreased evenness index in treatment plots suggested a preliminary change in plant species composition ”. 审稿人让我做NMDS分析，他的意见是“The hypothesis of species composition change with treatment could be more directly tested than decreased evenness index - why not do NMDS on community composition?” 请问该怎么分析呢？需要对哪方面的原始数据进行分析？ |
