申请季临近，有出国意愿的童鞋们想必都已经开始认真准备起来了吧~给大家提供一个招生信息，感兴趣的童鞋好好利用~ Dr. Lei Chen，现在为Mississippi State University机械系的faculty。他的实验室现在有两个full funded PhD opening，是面向16 Spring和16 Fall的哦！有良好的数学、力学和编程背景的童鞋会很有竞争力~实验室的 方向主要有(1) Micro-structure evolution and surface flow of additive manufacturing (3D printing) alloys; (2) Multi-scale and multi-physics modelling including phase transformation, stress evolution, ionic transport and thermal conductivity in energy storage materials such as lithium-ion batteries and super-capacito rs, as well as energy harvesting devices; (3) Novel numerical methodologies and /or techniques such as the advanced finite-element method and phase-field metho d for different engineering problems related to vehicles, e.g., fracture and fatigue, fluid-structure interaction and geometrically nonlinear phase transforma tion. 通过和Dr. Chen交谈，我的感觉是Dr. Chen十分温和，平易近人，善于且乐意与学生交流。邮件地址是：chen@me.msstate.edu。 大家赶紧联系起来吧~ |
