Hepatoma Res是一本具有同行评议、开放获取以及网络出版特点的学术型期刊。该期刊因处于发展阶段，目前所有文章的接受和发表过程均不收取任何费用。另外因该刊聚集来自21个国家的共110名专业的编委团队以及专业的送审模式，期刊还具有审稿周期快（平均两个月）的特点。
   该期刊目前已成功发行三期，目前正在积极筹备第四期的出版以及申请PubMed数据库的收录，一将PubMed收录后，该期刊所有的文章都可在PubMed数据库里检索到。
