Emerging Sources Citation Index是什么？ 已有1人参与

前几天收到一封邀稿（广告）邮件，提到相应期刊的文章会被Emerging Sources Citation Index索引，我想问问这个索引是是个什么索引。邮件里面还说这个索引是WOS的new edition。谁知道这是个什么样的数据库，和ISI什么关系？ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Dr. Chen, I am writing to invite you to submit an article to Advances in 【Civil Engineering】, which is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of civil engineering. The journal has recently been accepted for coverage in the 【Emerging Sources Citation Index】, which is a 【new edition of the Web of Science】 that is launching in November 2015. This means that any articles published in the journal will be indexed in the Web of Science at the time of publication. Advances in Civil Engineering is published using an open access publication model, meaning that all interested readers are able to freely access the journal online at https://www.hindawi.com/journals/ace/ without the need for a subscription, and authors retain the copyright of their work. All manuscripts that are submitted to Advances in Civil Engineering during November 2015 will not be subject to any Article Processing Charges. The journal has a distinguished Editorial Board with extensive academic qualifications, ensuring that the journal maintains high scientific standards and has a broad international coverage. Manuscripts should be submitted online to the journal at https://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/ace/.
