哈密顿系统保辛算法问题

我用3维离散元法（DEM）做颗粒的packing，模型包括法向接触模型、切向滑动摩擦、滚动摩擦模型等，投稿后一位审稿人提出一个问题，如下： The complex dynamical equation include friction terms between the particles that couple both the translational and rotational degrees of freedom of the system. This effect is known to break the symplectic structure of the system and in turn destroy the Hamiltonian nature of the system [1]. I wonder how this could alter the results presented in the manuscript and the long term evolution of the system.
