亚洲量子化学冬季学校

贴一个冬季学校的启示,不要钱,不管食宿,在香港科大 The Asian Winter School in Quantum Chemistry is aimed at graduate students who wish to gain an understanding of the theoretical principles behind many of the modern quantum chemistry and condensed matter electronic structure methods in use today. In addition to in-depth theoretical lectures delivered by leading researchers, there will be hands-on problem sessions with program packages and problems using these methods. Attendees will also be able to share their work through a poster session. The workshop is FREE to all attendees although registration is required (there is an upper limit of 50 participants). Prerequisites: - Students should have a good working knowledge of quantum mechanics, e.g. at the level of Molecular Quantum Mechanics. - Some familiarity with second quantization will be assumed.
