When we look back at our college days, it would be interesting to recall how we came to that important decision in the first place as to what university to attend. The process of reaching the decision would be most likely an unforgettable one to most of us: taking college entrance examinations, collecting information about various universities and their programs, discussing different possibilities with our teachers and parents, comparing notes with our classmates and friends, and meeting with the representatives from prospective schools…. Some of the universities where you originally wanted to go most for your college education; Why you were interested in those schools; How you evaluated relevant information against your possibility of being admitted or rejected by a specific university; Difficulties and interesting events that you had experienced during the process of selecting the school you eventually went to; and Any hindsight or suggestions about how to choose a university wisely. |

Oops, your English has improved dramatically. Good for you. As a postgraduate student, the most apparent reason to choose which university to attend is research and research matching with the mentors. But as a student aiming to get a job to earn my bread, a 985 university is more advantageous over others in terms of employment opportunity. Psychology is kind of wired in China, since many schools with great psychology courses are not 985 universities not even 211. They are dominated by some Normal Universities. So, it is hard to decide which to go due to its contradiction. |

| Good morning! I am a senior college student who will graduate in several months and I will go to Tianjin University to pursue my master degree.As students majored in pharmaceutical engineering,most of my classmates choose the China pharmaceutical university or Shenyang pharmaceutical university due to the high reputation in pharmaceutical field.But none of them is 985 universities and both are far away from my hometown.As results,I choose Tianjin University which is not famous in pharmaceutical field.I may encounter a lot of trouble when I look for a job after graduation.I am annoyed about this decision. |
