香港城市大学能源与环境学院计算能源课题组Patrick Sit博士招2016年入学博士生。Sit博士课题组主要进行第一性原理计算，他本人对该领域较熟悉，科研态度认真严谨，能够很好地指导学生工作。

I would like to bring to your attention the PhD fellowship/studentship openings in the computational energy research group in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong. Successful candidates will conduct research in first-principles quantum mechanical studies of electrocatalytic and photovoltaic systems with applications in energy. Candidates must have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field prior to the commencement of the studentship. 博士申请具体如下：

Meet the English proficiency requirement(英语一定要过，学校的硬性规定；需满足以下之一。六级490以上也行):

(i) a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or
(ii) a minimum overall band score of 6.5 in IELTS;
(iii) a score of 490 in the Chinese mainland’s College English Test Band 6;
(iiii) other test scores that may be regarded as equivalent to TOEFL 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based).

(Please note that individual Departments in the College may adopt a higher standard.)

About the scholarship (关于奖学金)：
1.月薪15300HKD，足以支付在香港的学习生活的全部费用；
2.对于非常优秀的学生，可以申请HK PhD Fellowship（月薪20000，第一年免学费住宿费；竞争激烈）
