不是啥文章，是老师问的一个问题 What is the smallest human gene that encodes a protein (in base pairs and amino acids)? 我回答老师说 In amino acids, through NCBI, I found Sarcolipin, which is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLN gene. This is the smallest human protein I found, with 31 amino acids. In base pairs, the average length of gene is about 50 kb and there are a few hundred base pairs long’s genes, but I didn’t find the smallest one. |
