[交流] 2016年9月_香港城市大学_计算模拟组招生

各位虫友，

我们组计划招收PhD学生，2016年9月入学（可以申请提前入学）。组里的研究方向主要为物理、材料及生物的计算模拟（MD & DFT）。导师Dr. Jun Fan 清华本科、普林斯顿博士毕业，科研能力很强，在 CELL, PRL 等杂志发表过文章。组内计算资源丰富，拥有独立高性能机群。老师很好相处，科研热情高，注重学生个人发展。我们组具体详细信息请点击 https://ourphysics.org 或者 https://ourphysics.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

2015年学生补贴是每月15300港币，足够在香港的生活开销；优秀的同学还能申请到fellowship，20000港币一月。2015年九月份已经开始申请，申请截止日期为今年12月初，具体请看https://www.sgs.cityu.edu.hk/prospective/apply/procedures

申请要求：
You are encouranged to apply PhD program:
GPA：
As long as your English is qualified, you may apply. The chance will increase with a high GPA (> 80 preferred, a low GPA may result in a academic score of 0) and scientific papers published (SCI, top 50% in category).
英语成绩：
English Proficiency Requirements of College of Science and Engineering:---a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based)or 79 (internet-based); or ---a minimum overall band score of 6.5 in IELTS;or ---a score of 490 in the Chinese mainland’s College English Test Band 6;or ---other test scores that may be regarded as equivalent to TOEFL 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based). (Please note that individual Departments in the College may adopt a higher standard.)
