真菌进入衰亡期后,胞内物质会不会流出细胞?以及审稿人意见如何回复? 已有1人参与

近期投了一篇文章,做主要内容是,发现三株真菌可以产生内分泌干扰物邻苯二甲酸二丁酯(DBP,而DBP通常被认为是人为产生的),因此其对环境会产生一定影响。但是其中一个审稿人认为需要证实真菌是如何把DBP分泌到胞外的,因为如果DBP只是产生了,但是无法分泌到胞外,那么依旧无法对环境产生危害。我是否可以从真菌进入衰亡期后,真菌常出现多形态,包括畸形或衰退型,细胞死亡伴随着自溶,而自溶可以使胞内物质流出的角度来回答该问题?具体问题如下: the authors answered the comments made, but not all of them were integrated into the manuscript (see specific comments below). Although these additional data help to improve the manuscript, there is still one major remark. Do the auhors have any proof that DBP is secreted by the fungi? If I understand it correctly, they extracted the culture broth (medium and fungal cells) after sonification, which means that the cells are open and that they analyze intracellular plus extracellular metabolites. But, if in nature DBP stays inside the cells and is not excreted then it doesn't contribute to water pollution. This is a very important point that needs to be answered before publication. In the experiments, the fungus needs to be filtered after cultivation and only the medium (without fungal mycelium) should be extracted with EtOAc.
