Catalysis Science & Technology审稿意见求助 已有1人参与

Catalysis Science & Technology提交40天，一审意见终于回来，只有一个审稿人，建议大修，编辑也给了大修，审稿人提出了几点意见，其中有两点想请教一下大家： The study was performed carefully. The conclusions are supported by experimental data. However, the text of the manuscript is in general too long to allow for publication in Catalysis Science & Technology. Significant parts of the text would have to be moved to the supplementary information. The main text needs to be more concise. Further, the results of the study were not placed into the context of the current knowledge. Here, the literature work needs to be revised and appropriated citations inserted. 审稿人说我的manuscript太长需要精简，但是个人感觉这个度不好把握，是将表征部分的数据放些到ESI里还是将催化应用的数据放到ESI里？其次，第二句话里“the results of the study were not placed into the context of the current knowledge”说我的研究结果没有在当前的知识背景下，这该怎么理解呢？后面一句the literature work needs to be revised是说我的英语有问题吗？literature work指的是英语写作吗？and appropriated citations inserted是指文献引用有问题？ 感觉最后这几点意见都比较空泛，一时不知道怎么入手修改，请帮助！ |
