CHEM PHYS CHEM 有人投过吗？ 麻烦帮我分析一下审稿意见啊

审稿意见回来了，但是对审稿人的想法拿捏不准，有说要添加数据的，可是文章已经很长了， 计算也要很久才完成，都相当于另一篇文章了，应该怎么处理好呢？ 恳请过来人给点意见，按编辑的意思这个算小修还是大修？ —————————————————————————————————————————————— 编辑意见如下： Dear ***, Thank you for your submission of 14 Aug 2015. Your manuscript might be suitable for publication in ChemPhysChem. However, the criticism from the referees forces us to defer a final decision until you have considered their remarks and revised your manuscript accordingly. Please include a point-by-point response to the reviewer comments in the "Respond to Reviewers" box, including a list of changes made and a rebuttal to any comments with which you disagree. To facilitate the handling of your manuscript, please also upload a file with a point-to-point response to the previous reviewer comments, including a list of changes and a rebuttal to any comments with which you disagree. In addition, please highlight the changes made during revision - this will be a tremendous help to us and to the referees. In carrying out the revisions please try to ensure that the overall length of the paper does not increase significantly. If you think you might need more than about two weeks for the revisions, please let us know. We can then withdraw your manuscript so that you can work without the pressure of a deadline. You can then submit your revised manuscript later as a new manuscript with a reference to the earlier version and an explanation of the changes/additions etc. Please be assured that it will be treated exactly as we would a normal revised manuscript. After we receive your revised manuscript and response to the remarks from our referees, we will endeavor to make a decision on the acceptance or rejection of your article as soon as possible, though further refereeing may be required. We generally reject manuscripts when referees recommend "Major Alterations" for the second time. Therefore, please make full use of the first revision!
