招聘一：
The A*STAR Industrial Robotics Program at the Singapore University of Technology and
Design (SUTD) immediately invites applications for openings for a Postdoctoral Fellow position
in the areas of kinematics, cooperative robotics, mechatronics and industrial control.
Researchers will work closely with a large multidisciplinary team of scientists, designers and
engineers from several universities to design and develop an innovative mobile adaptive
cooperative multi-arm system for industrial applications. Applicants can expect rapid results to
build their body of work toward a future academic career in disciplines ranging from kinematics,
mechatronics and controls.
This project involves:
• Conceptualizing and devising a cooperative and intelligent dual-arm system to carry out
efficient and precise industrial processes using roughly positioned mobile workcells,
• Designing and prototyping a highly mobile and maneuverable platform for transporting
the multi-arm system in a complex dynamic industrialized environment.
• Developing and implementing integrated motion control and sensing algorithms to
achieve robust and efficient operation.

technical skillset, research interests and goals, full list of publications, copies of up to three
relevant scientific papers, as well as the names and contact information of up to three
references. These positions are guaranteed for a year and come with a competitive salary
which is determined based on the applicants' research achievements, experience and

The Temasek Laboratories at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
immediately invites applications for openings for a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Research
Engineer position in the areas of robotics, mechatronics, controls, and bio-inspired design.
Researchers will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, designers and
engineers to design and develop innovative biologically-inspired unmanned robotic platforms
featuring transformative capabilities to achieve autonomous reconnaissance and surveillance.
Applicants can expect rapid results to build their body of work toward a future academic career
in discipline(s) from innovative mechanism design to controls.
This project involves:
• Conceiving and designing bio-inspired platforms that are able to transform from between
multiple states (rolling, crawling, climbing, etc) and exhibit various locomotive
characteristics.
• Devising and prototyping the materials, mechanical and electrical elements of the robotic
system to achieve transformation & locomotion.
• Developing and implementing integrated control and sensing algorithms to achieve
robust and efficient locomotion and autonomous operation.
