Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Nanophysics Simon Fraser University, Canada Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Theoretical Nanophysics Research Group at Simon Fraser University to start in 2008 or early in 2009. The position is for one year initially, with the possibility of renewal for one to two additional years. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. Currently the Group’s research interests are primarily in molecular nanoelectronics and related topics in nanoscopic and mesoscopic physics. A brief overview of the Group’s recent research and links to some representative publications can be found at http://www.sfu.ca/~kirczeno/ Previous research experience in one or more of theoretical condensed matter physics, theoretical nano- or mesoscopic physics or molecular nanoelectronics theory is a requirement for this position. Candidates are required to have satisfied all of the requirements for the Ph.D. degree prior to the commencement of this post-doctoral appointment.
