Position Description

Purpose of the Position:
 Adding one headcount of manufacturing control engineering function in China to fill in manufacturing software solution competency

Day to Day Responsibilities:
 Provide software solutions to manufacturing system.
 Deliver results to projects that range from development to manufacturing.
 Advance software technology in MTE.

Project involved with:
 May require up to 70% travel for project support mainly in Asia region.
 Communication with multiple stake holders such as manufacturing and engineering teams.

Reporting Structure:
Department Manager:  MCS Manager.

Direct reports:
None

Education & Experience
 Master’s degree and above in Computer Science or Information Technology.
 Overseas education degree is a plus.

Required Skills
 Strong knowledge of Object Oriented design and programming (Java, C#, VBA…)
 Strong knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XML-HTTP
 Strong database experience (Design/Maintenance/Optimization) in a Oracle and/or SQL Server  and/or MySQL environment
 Experience in SQL, Stored Procedures, Trigger and Tuning in a Oracle and/or SQL Server and/or MySQL environment
 Strong knowledge of network maintenance and troubleshooting
 Familiarity with using design pattern like Abstract Factory, Prototype, Adapter…
 Good understanding and experience in Windows server and Linux system
 Good understanding and experience in Embedded system
 Experience in Technical capacity of IMS/MES Projects (Scoping, Requirements, Design, Development and Deployment)
 Experience in following a structured software development process (SA/SD/Programming discipline/Test case/Test plan/Change control … )
 Experience in Agile software development
 Good in system documenting
