投PRL编辑直接拒稿，但给机会修改重投 已有2人参与

收到编辑邮件如下，准备修改重投. 请虫友支招，给予修改意见，拜谢了！ Dear Dr. ***, We have considered your manuscript and conclude that it is not suited for Physical Review Letters. We make no judgment on the correctness or technical aspects of your work. However, from our understanding of the paper's physics results, context, and motivation, we conclude that your paper does not meet the Physical Review Letters criteria of impact, innovation, and interest. Our criteria require a clear justification for consideration of the paper by PRL, rather than by a specialized journal. Your work appears better suited for submittal to the latter. [Please see our recent editorial https://journals.aps.org/prl/edannounce/PhysRevLett.111.180001 (2013).] In view of our assessment, we are not sending your manuscript out for review. 看了回复信，编辑并没有很强烈的想要这篇文章。所以楼主要好好修改，除了提出的意见外最好还需要自己对文章不足做相应的调整。然后最关键的是要在cover letter 中体现这点！方便编辑重新对你的文章进行评价。虽然重投相当与大修，但是咱也要认真对待。这是我上一篇重投文章的一点经验，希望对你有帮助！ [ 发自手机版 https://muchong.com/3g ] |
