| Through the analysis of 11 breakdown failure cases of the thyristores mounted in KDS-5000/40 rectificate power in electroplating production, the method used in analyzing and handling the thyristor breakdown failures was developed. Experiences applied in discriminatingly handling failures are proposed from five aspects: cooling, selection, installation, maintenance, environment of AC Power. The main technical points of prevention of those failures are mentioned. |
