| In this articles, degradation of Active Red X-3B caused by SO4-• which is generated through catalyzing persulfate was studied based on combinations of activated carbon adsorption and SO4-• advanced oxidation technology, where activated carbon and Cuo employed as catalyst. The results indicated that it could obtained a effective degradation of Active Red X-3B by catalyzing persulfate employing activated carbon loading with Cuo and a up to 90% chroma removal rate, which was significantly better than the use of activated carbon, persulfate and persulfate catalyzed by activated carbon. The degradation of Active Red X-3B was affected by the loading amount of Cuo, pH, the quantity of persulfate and temperature. |
