有EC投稿经验的请帮忙分析下 已有2人参与

投了一篇EC,被编辑拒了，拒稿信如下： This paper is too long for Electrochemistry Communications which aims to publish short, urgent communications (see Guide for Authors). Please either submit it elsewhere as a full paper or shorten it to Communication Length and resubmit. For Communication Length please observe the following formula: Total number of words + 200 x (No of figures + No of tables) < 3000. Your paper currently contains 2250 words and the equivalent in space of 4 figures. According to the formula above, this is the equivalent of 3050 words, which is too long for this journal. Also, if you decide to resubmit a shorter version please consider the following comments: 1- Your manuscript is lacking a comparison with recent literature results. This is needed to demonstrate significance and justify urgent publication. In other words, you need to demonstrate the advantages of your electrode materials relative to those of the literature. 2- Even if the references are not taken into account in the word count, you could be more selective in the choice of the references. 3- Please make sure that "Reference Checking" is performed for your manuscript. This is accomplished when one clicks "Click here to view linked References" on the first page of the manuscript. It is a useful tool for the editor and the referees as it gives direct access to the references listed in the Reference list. In the case of your manuscript, if you click on the link "Click here to view linked References", the following message appears: Reference Checking could not be completed due to an error. 哪位有经验的帮忙分析一下，编辑态度如何？修改以后再投中的几率大不大？ |
