the ERC/NSFC initiative

A latest development from ERC (European Research Council) is that a new initiative has recently been launched (the 5th Implementing Arrangement, 29 June 2015) with the NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation) facilitating the scientific visits by Chinese researchers to join ERC-funded teams. It should be noted that this arrangement is different from the ERC grants in that the visitors need to be active holders of NSFC grants and they will receive remuneration from NSFC.
