[求助] 请高手指导这句话的意思“Please remove legends from illustrations. ” 已有2人参与

请大家指导一下，我一篇论文修改完（一个图一个文档并以图号命名），编辑在邮件中这样写到“Please remove legends from illustrations. Captions to figures can be reported in the manuscript after references (not as separated files).”请问这是什么意思？是让把图下面的图名删掉吗，还是让把图名和对图的说明文字全删掉呢：例如“Fig. 2. Specific reactivity of chars measured in air in TGA at 400 °C. The numbers on the curves refer to the holding time (in min) of gasification in 4000 ppm O2 at 800 °C.”是将这句话全删掉还是只保留图名即前一句“Fig. 2. Specific reactivity of chars measured in air in TGA at 400 °C.“而将后半部分的说明即第二句”The numbers on the curves refer to the holding time (in min) of gasification in 4000 ppm O2 at 800 °C.”删掉呢？请明白的给予指导一下，谢谢

The numbers on the curves in Fig. 2 represent the holding time (in min) of gacification in 4000ppm O2 and 800oC.

“Fig. 2. Specific reactivity of chars measured in air in TGA at 400 °C." 应该是图的标题吧？一定要删掉的。

不过是不是一般把第二句也放在标题的后面。所以不用出现在正文里面解释的，直接在图的下面写上标题+图解。
