申请美国博后，老板要求写proposal，靠谱吗 已有4人参与

一个美国学校的台湾老板，据观察应该是刚到那个学校开展工作，要求写proposal，请问这种靠谱吗？希望大吗？ 原文如下： Thanks for your interests and the detailed information. Your research experience in XXX and XXX fit the position requirements well, which could make you a good candidate. I will leave the position open for a period of time to review more applicants, and anticipate to have the shortlist in September/October. In the meantime, in addition to the required application materials, I encourage you to provide me with a research proposal (2-3 pages) describing how you are going to correlate your research background with the project described, and what specific studies you plan to conduct as your postdoctoral work, which would be beneficial to your application. |

| 我觉得是老板想看看你对他项目的理解以及你能对项目贡献哪方面的工作。有项目肯定缺人手，看来他有一定的选择余地，但如果你的切入点如果跟他的项目很吻合了，你的赢面就非常大。退一步说，人家就是真想收集idea,你就宁愿放弃这个机会了？ |
