two Ph.D. positions at The University of Texas at Dallas

Two Ph.D. positions are also available starting from Spring 2016. Anyone who is interested, please send your CV to jiezhang@utdallas.edu Preferred qualifications: (1) master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or statistics; (2) strong background in mathematical optimization methods; and (3) knowledge in power & energy systems, renewable integration, multidisciplinary design optimization, and big data analytics. Dr. Zhang will be available to meet with interested candidates at the upcoming 2015 IEEE PES General Meeting in Denver, CO. Visiting students and scholars are always welcome.
