Postdoc position in the area of intestine, stomach or kidney

A postdoc position in the area of intestine, stomach or kidney is available (from Aug, 2015) in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology (MCP) at the Medical School of the University of Cincinnati (UC). An applicant is expected to: 1) Have experience in research and publication. 2) Be highly motivated, comfortable of independent as well as collaborative research. Choices of the research projects can be broad. Potential projects might include: 1. The decision making of cells in intestine, stomach or kidney. 2. Signal transduction pathways such as Notch, Wnt, Hedgehog, etc. 3. Cellular process such as cell cycle control, apoptosis, or circadian rhythm, Zhang’s lab uses mathematical modeling to address the decision making of cells. The lab will also collaborate with other faculty members in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology and in the Medical school (including labs in the Children’s hospital).
