Oxidation应该是指silica还是什么的反应吧,所以将oxidation直接与pristine UFDs相比不合适,需要具体说明才好:

During the heating process, small holes in silica network sealed because of structural adjustment, thus the oxidation (of silica network? 可以略去) stopped at lower temperature compared with that OF the pristine UFDs in Fig. 3.

下面这句我觉得the TEOS amount of 这样用不对,该怎么改好呢?
Fig. 2 shows the TEM images of samples 1, 2 and 3, with silica shell thicknesses of 10 nm, 20 nm and 50 nm, which were synthesized by adding the TEOS amount of 0.15 ml, 0.4 ml and 1.5 ml, respectively.

前面一句我还是认为比较前后的对象不一致。后半句完整的说法应该是:
Thus, the oxidation of xx stopped at lower temperature compared with the oxidation of pristine UFDs. (也许我没完全吃透你的东西,你在琢磨一下)

第二句可以尝试:
Fig. 2 shows the TEM images of samples 1, 2 and 3, with silica shell thicknesses of 10 nm, 20 nm and 50 nm, which were synthesized by adding 0.15, 0.4 and 1.5 ml of TEOS, respectively.
