Dear all – On June 12, 2015, the Department of State announced that it has been experiencing some technical difficulties with its visa systems since June 9. As a result, the issuance of visas has been delayed for some individuals who already applied for a visa and visa interview appointments for others have had to be rescheduled as well. These technical problems are ongoing and are not specific to any consulate, citizens of any country or applicants for certain visa types. Please consider these delays as you are making travel plans and/or are scheduling any visa interview appointments.
