The results revealed that the flux of the NaCl solutions and pure water through the geopolymer circular plate membrane is nearly zero, whereas the flux of the NaCl solutions through the self-supporting zeolite membrane can be greater than 4.74 kg m-2 h-1 (25ºC) when the membrane thickness was decreased to 2 mm (see Fig. 6). In this membrane, the majority of the geopolymer gel was converted into the zeolite phase after the hydrothermal process (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3), whereas a small quantity of non-converted material inside the membrane continued to provide strength and buttressing support for the zeolite membrane. The flux through the suddenly changed geopolymer primarily resulted from the transformation of the micropores in the geopolymer gel. The volume of the micropores changed from 0 to 0.049 cc/g after the hydrothermal process.
The pervaporation temperature was maintained at approximately 25ºC, and the feed pressure was less than 0.1 MPa depending on the pervaporation temperature. During the pervaporation process for the desalination of seawater, the disc-shaped NaA zeolite membrane (diameter = 40 mm, thickness = 2-10 mm) was sealed in a membrane module. The feed was usually placed on the zeolite side of the support to minimize the concentration polarization. The concentration of Na ions in the collected permeated solutions was analyzed using ICP to obtain the ion % rejection value.

结果表明通过地质聚合物圆盘膜NaCl溶液和纯水的流量几乎为零, 而在自身支持沸石分子筛膜厚度减小到2毫米时通过它的NaCl溶液流量可高于4.74kg/平方米/小时(25摄氏度)(见图6)。在这种膜内,大多数地质聚合物凝胶经水温作用转变为沸石分子筛相(见图2和图3),而膜中少量未转变的材料继续为沸石分子筛提供强度和扶墙支持。这种通过突然改变的地质聚合物的流量主要是由于地质聚合物凝胶中微孔的变化。在水温作用下微孔的体积从0变到0.049cc/g.
全蒸发温度保持在大约25摄氏度,填料压力取决于全蒸发温度,低于0.1MPa。在全蒸发海水脱盐过程中,盘状的NaA沸石分子筛膜(直径=40mm,厚度=2-10mm)封闭在膜模具中。填料通常加在支持最小浓差极化的沸石分子筛一侧。在收集的透过溶液中钠离子的浓度用感应耦合等离子体法测定,得到离子排除值百分比。
