请大家帮我看看，这个杂志要求如下：Original full-length research papers should contain material that has not been previously
published elsewhere, except in a preliminary form. These papers should not exceed 6000 words of
text and generally not more than eight figures/tables.
在这段话里说文章不能超过6000字，这6000字包括参考文献吗？急求！我现在按照审稿人的要求在改文章，可是发现整个Manuscript快到6000字了，有可能会超过6000字啊。不知道咋整了？
